Mornings in Fruit land are simply beautiful. This is Hunter and Andrew just enjoying the morning view.
Hunter wanted to be just like daddy. (the little pyromaniac)
Andrew and Hunter with Pepper and though she is a cute cat I was glad to leave her behind. Going to either grandparents house is good for getting wanting a cat out of your system. Pet, Pet, Pet and then go home without them and their mess.
Me doing my favorite thing, reading Jane Austen.
The camping bug has bit my little family again and we just had to get out. We just got back from staying at my parents ranch. It was a lot of fun, but it didn't help me with my need to camp. We had planned that when we got up there that we would walk around maybe go for a hike have a bon fire, make s'mores, tell jokes or stories around said bon fire, and drink hot chocolate. On the way up Hunter screamed about the last 15 minutes of the drive so when I got there I was already a little frazzled. Right when we got there Hunter who was showing no signs of being sick promptly threw up on me and him so I needed to bathe him and wash our clothes. I needed to feed both cats and the rabbit, clean out the litter box, put out new water, feed my dad and clean up the back porch where we were sleeping. Andrew said it was too cold to make s'mores outside so we still made s'mores, but we made them indoors using the wood burning stove and no stories were told. The porch has no heat except for the stove so since we weren't keeping the fire going all night we froze. Hunter screamed quite a bit of the trip, none of us slept really well. And in the morning I needed to wash all of the dishes and Andrew needed to burn the trash. Over all not the best camping experience so we need to go back so that we can have a bon fire and so that my mother can be there so I don't have to do the duties of the ranch that she usually does. I will still help her, but having to do it all kinda killed the trip. The one really great thing that came out of it was I got to sit by a fire and read. That is one of my favorite things to do. Next time will be better and I can finally get rid of the camping bug, at least until next time.
